REESE'S GRANOLA PROTEIN BITES

I don't know about you, but peanut butter and chocolate is a combo that never gets old! Add granola? Game over. These Reese's Granola Protein Bites have crunchy peanut butter granola inside, swirled with creamy peanut butter, and surrounded with creamy milk chocolate. These bites are gluten-free, dairy-free, and low sugar!
Did you know? Granola can be a great energy-dense source of fuel. Look for brands with low added sugars and some protein. I also look for organic grains and gluten-free if I can find it!

Protein recommendations
I used LIV Body Marine Collagen in "flavorless" for these bites! It mixes in seamlessly and adds a boost of collagen for healthier skin, joints, and gut tissue. Marine collagen is superior to bovine in that it's more bioavailable. Feel free to use my code "NOEXCUSES" for 20% off any and all LIV Body products!
I wouldn't really recommend using another protein powder, like whey or vegan since they are way more absorbent. You could try to add more water or milk if using another protein powder.
Granola recommendations
For the granola, you're probably going to want peanut butter flavor (unless you're allergic then use another flavor). A couple that are easy to find with some added protein and not too much added sugar are Kashi Go Peanut Butter and KIND Peanut Butter Clusters (neither of these are soy-free). Kashi has slightly more protein and slightly less added sugar, but KIND brand is gluten-free and very similar macros. Another option is Bear Naked Peanut Butter Crunch, which soy-free and has zero added sugar but more fat and less protein.
Chocolate recommendations
If you're looking for dairy-free and gluten-free milk chocolate, I would recommend Hu Kitchen brand. If you're looking for just sugar-free, I would suggest Lily's milk chocolate. If you're wanting low sugar and dairy-free, I love The Good Chocolate! I love chocolate so I have tried all of these and more ;)

Other ingredients
The only other ingredients are peanut butter, sugar-free maple syrup, sea salt and vanilla. Now, the peanut butter you can substitute for any nut or seed butter you like (almond, cashew, sunflower butter). The sugar-free maple syrup can be swapped for half pure maple syrup, half water (for similar calories and to keep added sugars in check). The vanilla and sea salt are optional but add a little something special.
Here's the printable recipe for these Reese's Granola Protein Bites :) I hope you love them as much as my family did (leave a comment if so!)
